Trainers and workshops planned for 2026

This year we have a varied group of trainers able to offer workshops.

Here is some information on who will be here so far, with some topics that they may offer:

Sinhaketu Simon McKibbin – Empathy and being heard – embodied NVC; Focusing and presence; Deepening compassionate communication

Clare Palmer – Foundation in Nonviolent Communication; Living with dying; Building resilience in the climate crisis with NVC

Kirstin Heidler – Building blocks of empathy; Empathy clash; The gifts of self doubt; Relational dynamics.

Ozge Altinkaya and Kate Benton – NVC Refresher, Introduction to NVC ‘Dancefloors’, (a guided visual and embodied practice applying NVC principles to real situations), One to One Dancefloor journeys offered during the week.

Ron de Brito – Embodying NVC – To sense our inner rumblings, tensions or space with Embodied Presence exercises: how to feel all that arises and meet ourselves (and subsequently others) with great compassion and love. When our fears and vulnerabilities are truly loved like this, we learn that we matter and belong and can name our experiences in integrity and alignment.

Caroline O’Neill – Being with my child (children welcome); Being with myself when with my child

Eileen O’Sullivan – Technology choices and aligning with NVC values

Each day, keeping to camp tradition, we are also able to ask for specific themes that interest us, and there will be several trainers available daily to meet some of these requests.

Other sessions not directly related to NVC may include Biodanza, storytelling, Internal Family Systems and more!
