Camp Organisation
As much as possible the camp is led by the community with decisions made in the morning circle each day.
Pre-camp organisation (hiring the site and equipment, taking bookings etc) is done by the Organising Team, which is a group of volunteers consisting of both new and regular/annual Rainbow Mill-ers!
At camp there will be a designated ‘Holding Team, that will meet daily to help camp run smoothly. This could be dealing with practical problems, making sure that people feel able to speak up, supporting anyone who needs help, and anything else that needs attending to.
The confirmed CNVC Certified Trainers supporting us to run the 2025 camp are Rik Midgley and Sinhaketu /Simon McKibbin.

Rik Midgley – CNVC Certified NVC Trainer
In my longing for sustainable social change, my passion is in the nurturing of skills by which we can address and let go of whatever lies between our hearts and our innately compassionate selves. This is a journey of knowing and loving ourselves, of going beyond the mind and opening curiosity to the language of the body, and befriending its tangible voice. It involves walking towards that which appears unpleasant or painful, and finding acceptance and understanding of its underlying beauty. I have spent over 3 decades exploring meditation and movement in the learning and deepening of my journey.
In search of practical techniques, I have developed a movement practice that supports the awareness and understanding of the body and its interaction with the mind, thus inviting presence and empowerment. I call this Self-Connection Qigong. Also, I am a practitioner of Internal Family Systems (IFS), which maps how our mind-body has responded to historical stressful events in what at the time was a life serving way, and offers compassionate tools to create options and possibilities to move on in a sustainable way. In nurturing self love in this way, I believe that social change can be sustainable.
